Still home to British royalty, the timeless elegance and storied past of Kensington Palace will charm and delight both you and your guests.
The Kensington Palace Pavilion temporarily replaces the Orangery at Kensington Palace, which has now closed for a major conservation and building project. The new venue is a purpose-built, one of a kind building, offering a flexible space for a range of events, with a unique terrace overlooking the stunning gardens and East façade of the historic Georgian royal home.
The Pavilion will feature two main event spaces, with capacity for an impressive 800 guests for a standing reception across both rooms, and 300 for a seated dinner with the option of a separate drinks reception area. The venue will also benefit from a covered terrace area, making it ideal for receptions in all seasons and a first for Kensington Palace. The area around the Sunken Garden can also be utilised alongside the terrace for larger events.
Building work will begin in February 2018 and the Pavilion will be available to host an exclusive number of events per year from March 2018.
The State Apartments are an excellent succession of opulent rooms at the heart of the Palace. They are available for dinners and receptions and may be combined with the Sunken Garden, which is a stunning outdoor venue.
The Entrance Hall is available for large drinks receptions and intimate dinners, and guests can spill out across the East Front Lawns for al fresco celebrations.
