Yves Saint Laurent Perfume Launch

We had the honour of delivering this intimate event as exclusive caterer at Landing Forty Two.

As the dedicated in-house catering partner for Landing Forty Two, on the 30th January this year we had the honour of catering an intimate perfume launch for the esteemed fashion label Yves Saint Laurent.

Our client transformed the venue into a dark and intimate space with splashes of bright pinks to add to the atmosphere. We then emphasised this theme through our menu and table design. We were tasked with including ‘addictive black coffee’, ‘sweet vanilla’ and ‘vibrant dragon fruit’ flavours within the menu to match the fragrance composition, as well as mirroring the bottle colours.

Menu

Our talented chef brigade designed a bespoke menu which comprised of:

Starter:

Coffee-crusted venison carpaccio, candied beetroot, watercress, black cherries, rapeseed dressing

Baked aubergine, coffee mole, crispy noodles, pickled radish, sesame dressing

Main:

Poached sea trout, charcoal taramasalata, kohlrabi, potato salad, carrot purée

Beetroot gnocchi, pink radicchio, goat’s curd, pink grapefruit

Dessert:

Dark chocolate and coffee bomb, vanilla mascarpone, dragon fruit

Landing Forty Two provided the perfect backdrop for such a high profile event, offering unrivalled views of the spectacular London skyline, and our client was incredibly pleased with the outcome.

Thank you so much for accommodating the array of dietaries & the changes, whilst still ensuring it was a super slick & chic service. The food was not only beautiful (and exactly like the mood board & vision), but tasted delicious. As I mentioned to Amy [planner], it is rare that we don’t have a lot of back and forth with choosing a menu as we are very specific, but the suggestions were perfect, both visually beautiful & delicious!
