On the 5th of June our sales and planning team set out across London in Green Tomato Cars to celebrate World Environment Day with our venues! Delivering sustainable hampers filled with sustainable cocktail ingredients, notepads and pens we challenged our venues to a sustainable cocktail making competition.
After a lengthy debate amongst the team and some very strong contenders, we just couldn’t deny the incredible effort and determination of our Sustainable Superstars and winners of the incredible foraged dining experience at Native, Hampton Court Palace!
We are working towards a fully sustainable business, one that meets the needs of the present world without comprising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Steps we have already taken to achieve this include sourcing our ingredients from local and British suppliers, supplying all employees with reusable water bottles to remove any need for plastic and launching a cycle to work scheme. In order to help us deliver this mission, we have just formed the ‘Green Smarties’, a CSR committee responsible for ensuring we are following all social responsibility guidelines, coming up with new and creative ways to support the local community and exploring all the ways we can be more sustainable!
