We are very pleased to announce that after 30 years of being a privately owned business, we have now become a luxury catering brand within the awarding winning Smart Group Ltd, following the conclusion of a bolt-on acquisition.
The purchase will create a combined turnover for the catering division in excess of £12 million per annum. It will enable Smart Group to enjoy the longevity and experience we have working in the Unique Venues of London, Museums and Historic Royal Palaces with prestigious and high profile events including the Man Booker Prize, the Barclaycard Mercury Prize and the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Moving Venue clients will also be able to benefit from the wide range of event services provided by Smart Group including Christmas Party venues, Corporate Hospitality and a creative event design service.
We will retain our strong brand identity with our market position, product quality, team structure, logistics and culture un-affected and will be known as Moving Venue by Smart. Richard Beggs will also remain as Managing Director for a minimum of three years. Moving Venue has always taken great strength in its independence and will remain autonomous as a separate trading division within the group.
