In March 2018, Moving Venue had the privilege of partnering with Unique Venues of London for their annual supplier event. A select few suppliers were given the opportunity to showcase at the event and as the event took place in the middle of the snow last month we took the opportunity to welcome Spring – if only in our minds! In the beautiful Royal Horticultural Halls, we created an interactive edible garden station.
The station was split into two sections – sweet and savoury. On the savoury side we served three types of mouse which included ‘pea and mint’ and ‘carrot, cumin and ginger’ along with three types of edible soil such as ‘coffee and stout’ and ‘dried wild mushroom’ and various picked and shaved vegetables. The sweet section included ‘salted caramel course and apple and cucumber apples’ along with many other items to compliment the garden look.
The entire station was surrounded by a white picket fence and beautiful Delfinia flower provided by our friends at Pinstripe and Peonies which further enhanced the garden feel of the station.
This was a wonderful opportunity for our chefs to showcase their talents as well as catching up with some of our favourite venues who are UVL members.
