Societe Generale's 'Playing for London'

‘Playing for London' is a unique initiative in the corporate world, bringing together 300 musicians and singers from Societe Generale’s staff worldwide to perform with symphony orchestra Les Siècles. The concert was conducted by François-Xavier Roth, founder of Les Siècles and widely regarded as one of the most charismatic conductors of his generation.

Celebrating 30 years' support of classical music in 2017, Societe Generale has established itself as a key player in the musical world and this year Moving Venue were absolutely delighted to partner with Societe Generale for this highly prestigious event that contributes to expanding the reach of classical music beyond its traditional audience.

This year ‘Playing for London’ took place at The Royal Festival Hall and we were lucky enough to hold the VIP Reception pre showand post concert reception in the Clore Ballroom.

The VIP reception saw guests being served some of our favourite canapés and bowls including the Knufa ‘candyfloss’ monkfish and pink beef fillet with horseradish creamed mash. For the post concert reception we served delicious charcuterie and cheese platters which were complimented by many attending guests.
