We are very excited to be nearing for the 4th time, yet another Sainsbury’s Press Show. Having joined forces with the Sainsbury’s team in 2016 twice a year for the past two year Moving Venue have presented their latest seasonal ranges of food, homeware and technology over delicious drinks and delectable culinary treats!
In March 2017, guests enjoyed sampling wines from Sainsbury’s vineyards before exploring a selection of sampling stands which included items from Sainsbury’s own ‘just cook’, ‘on the go’ and ‘free from’ ranges as well as other themed stalls such as BBQ food, antipasti platters, smoothies, salads and dips, quiches, a ‘world food’ selection and even a stand for cereal!
Serving up our bespoke recipe of the summer's latest craze of Frosé in giant wine glasses the press were left to mill around and enjoy a variety of new and exciting food concepts. Everything from toffee apple pork belly slices and katsu chicken curry lollipops to butternut squash tagliatelle with quinoa Bolognese (all Sainsbury’s own ingredients of course!) left guests eagerly awaiting the start of the summer season!
From Lederhosen at Mary Ward House in A/W 2016 to a food festival in S/S 2017, the themes are eclectic and this June we will be working in partnership with Fisher Productions and the Sainsbury’s team as they join forces with fellow retail giants Argos and Habitat to deliver their biggest event yet; a 300 pax Orient Express themed showcase split over two floors of the magnificent Somerset House - expect to see some Moving Venue team members in their train line overalls!
