Moving Venue recognises talent within team

Moving Venue has promoted Pollie Isherwood from Event Manager to Operations Manager. Within her new role Pollie will take charge of the company’s largest events, oversee operational relationships with the company’s broad reach of catering contracts as well as championing service and delivery standards. 

Having worked with Moving Venue for nearly 2 years, Pollie has worked on large projects such as the Mercury Music Prize and the Farnborough Air Show. She boasts a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector; she spent a number of years freelancing at high-profile corporate hospitality events and venues including the Ryder Cup, the Aegon tennis championships and Kia Oval.  Prior to this she spent 7 years at Dish where she worked her way up to general manager.

Pollie said of her appointment, “I am delighted to be taking on the challenge of this new role, to put into place new operational measures, and support existing functions, making sure that we consistently perform on all scales, exceeding the industry standard.”

Specifically the role will involve constructing weekly planning meetings, ensuring all operational team members are fully trained and continually monitored, and overseeing the production of all events in line with set corporate objectives and client specifications.
