On the 18th July Moving Venue were privileged to cater the launch of The Moon Exhibition at The Royal Museums Greenwich.
300 guests were treated to an array of incredible galactic canapés at the National Maritime Museum before getting a sneak preview of the new exhibition and VIP dinner for 90.
Moving Venue served a delicious cocktail, selected because it was the first thing Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin drank when out of quarantine after the first Moon Landing. We were delighted it went down so well for our guests 50 years later!
Our out of this world canapés included, smoked trout rillettes, lunar tuille sandwich, avruga hails, Galaxy quails eggs, shortbread moons, spiced corn puree, corn stones and celeriac coconut sphere, black bean pesto and solar dust.
100 VIP guests were then invited over to the Queens House to finish the evening with a 2-course dinner where the star of the show was our stunning moon themed dessert - Dark chocolate, dulcy crisp pearl and passion fruit moon with banana star dust and coconut and lime ice cream.
We cannot wait for many more exciting events surrounding this incredible new exhibition!
