On the 17th July, Moving Venue partnered with Landing Forty Two, Vibration Design and Production, Mill Harbour and Pinstripes & Peonies to deliver a beautifully intimate dinner for 36 key clients. Landing Forty Two is a fantastically diverse venue with opportunities to use the space in a variety of ways to give multiple defined areas used for different parts of your event, and what better way to showcase this than showing how it is done!
Pinstripes & Peonies built a stunning botanical wall using ferns and glass shelving to create two distinct spaces; one for the reception and the other for dinner. Vibration Design and Production dressed the space with pin spot lighting, branded LED bars and soft furniture, while Mill Harbour produced branding on the bar fronts, large vinyl window menus and decorative artwork frames to emphasise the botanical theme.
During the reception Moving Venue served new canapés from our autumn/winter menu as well a ‘dig your own garden’ starter station serving pea and basil mousse, salt-baked celeriac and rosemary mousse with edible soil and baby vegetables.
This was followed by a delicious two-course meal serving a rump of lamb with crispy lamb belly, spring cabbage, garlic and potato emulsion with a lamb and almond sauce. Dessert soon followed with a stunning rosemary panna cotta.
The promotional event was a huge success and showcased the venue in an entirely new way. Each of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening, commenting “Thank you very much for having us at Landing Forty Two! We absolutely loved it. Needless to say, everything was flawless, and the food was delicious! As if that was not enough, we also now have an office fern, which we will cherish as a team 😊 Great to see the venue and to catch up with you guys, so thank you once again”.
