In March 2017, London’s highest dedicated event space, Landing Forty Two, set high above street level in the heart of the Capital, played host to 150 of Moving Venue’s clients, friends and fellow industry professionals at our promotional reception event, launching our exclusive catering partnership with the venue and revealing our new brand for the first time.
Whilst guests admired spectacular views of the city skyline, sipping on cocktails and bubbles, our team of chefs, headed up by Simon Packer, delighted us with a selection of canapes, bowls and food stations, truly showcasing the diverse range of menu options Moving Venue can deliver.
From mussels with pipettes of parmesan sauce to delicate beetroot tuille’s with piri piri truffled goats cheese and tequila cured Scottish salmon loin with Oscietra caviar crème fraiche elegantly served atop pastry forks, the canapes were as attractive as they were delicious.
Moving Venue’s creative approach and passion for food was highlighted once again by the reveal of our food stations which included an assortment of risotto flavours finished in, and served from, a carved Parmesan wheel, a hanging toast bar with a live chef station serving up bespoke orders and an icebox ice block display with a range of colourful ceviche dishes served in Oyster shell bowls.
The stations were set at the centre of the 5,000sq. ft event space atop a statement LED circular bar featuring Moving Venue’s new logo, complete with Landing 42’s unique coordinates. The new branding aligns our brand alongside the Smart Group following our acquisition whilst illustrating our established position in the industry; Moving Venue, London’s original and leading Venue Caterers.
