We are delighted to announced our partnership with Venue Lab as exclusive caterer for Magazine London, an innovative new event space located in the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula set to launch in summer 2019.
With a remit that includes all aspects of the venue’s catering - from producing high-end three-course menus to creating canapés for over 3,000 guests at the same time, Moving Venue will draw on our 35 years’ experience in the industry to deliver creative, event-friendly catering using fresh, seasonal produce.
Commenting on the partnership, Chloe Martin, Director of Sales & Marketing at Moving Venue, said: “We’re delighted to add Magazine London to our portfolio, cementing our position as the go-to caterer for leading venues across London. We pride ourselves on taking an innovative approach to our work, a mind-set that is completely aligned with the Venue Lab team and we’re excited to work together with them to bring our creative catering offer to a new audience.”
Magazine London has been conceived by Venue Lab, part of Vibration London. Commenting on the partnership with Moving Venue, Simon Tracey, Vibration Group’s CEO, said: “With Magazine London set to make a real mark on the London events industry, it was essential to secure a catering partner that we were confident could really deliver against our promise to offer something innovative, creative and of the very highest standards. Moving Venue has a stellar reputation in the industry and it felt like a very natural choice as we look to raise the bar for events in the capital.”
Magazine London is a ground-up project in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula and will stand on the riverbank with stunning views of Canary Wharf and will offer a flexible 3,000 capacity venue (total 3,205 sqm). The venue benefits from an adjoining landscaped environment on the banks of the River Thames, The Showground, which has capacity for 7,000. Together they have a combined capacity of 10,000, opening up the potential for events, brand activations and festivals that require an outdoor element.
