On Monday 24th June, 42 VIP guests attended a royal themed banquet to remember at the Tower of London.
Guests were greeted by the Yeoman Warder and taken on a historic tour of the Tower Grounds. They then took part in the prestigious experience of a private viewing of the crown jewels whilst sipping on delicious André Clouet Champagne before moving to the White Tower for a delicate canapé reception featuring highlights such as the salmon trio gateaux and smoked fillet of beef on a rosti with truffle cream.
Guests then experienced a standout dinner seated at one long banqueting table bedecked in royal styling featuring floristry by Pinstripes and Peonies, atmospherically lit by Event Concept. On the menu was a lamb neck with crispy lamb belly, spring cabbage, garlic and potato emulsion, lamb and almond sauce paired with an exquisite 2014 Gevrey Chambertin, Domaine Fery, France. This was followed by the ever-popular and standout white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake with olive oil shortbread and verbena accompanied by a Chablis from Domaine Séguinot-Bordet.
It truly was a night to remember for all guests with one even commenting that she “felt like a royal princess dining in Downton Abbey” – we’d say we can consider that a job well done for team Moving Venue!
